On Feb. 25, 1944 the submarine HMS Stonehenge P-232 sailed from Trincomalee, Ceylon (Sri Lanka) for a patrol between Sumatra and the Nicobar Islands, nothing was heard from her again. The cause of the loss is still unknown to this day. |
