Daily Event for June 22

June 22, 1838 the schooner Fanny, which sailed from Hobart, was wrecked near Cape Jaffa, western Australia.
The crew managed to reach shore and thanks to the help of some of the local aborigines found water and lit
fires. The entire crew was saved. However two of them returned to the wreck and never came back, presumed
to have been killed by other aborigines.
