One hundred years ago today, June 30, 1906, the New Hampshire, Battleship #25 (later BB-25) was launched at New York Shipbuilding Corp. in Camden, New Jersey. The New Hampshire was at Vera Cruz for the occupation and served as a convoy escort in World War 1. She also participated in the return of US troops after the war. She was scrapped in 1923. |
