July 12, 1913 the German battlecruiser Derfflinger was launched at Blohm & Voss for the second time. The first launch attempt took place on June 14, 1913, but the ship got stuck on the ways. Derfflinger was present and damaged at both the Battle of Dogger Bank and Jutland. She was scuttled with the German fleet at Scapa Flow in 1919, raised in 1939 and scrapped in 1946. |
