March 23, 2007: Senior Sailor of the Year, Electronics Technician 1st Class Craig T. Johnson, delivers the ensign to Command Master Chief Charles L. Dassance during the decommissioning ceremony.



March 23, 2007: Command Master Chief Charles L. Dassance presents the ensign to Commanding Officer Capt. Todd A. Zecchin during the decommissioning ceremony. After more than 38 years of service and 18 deployments
the John F. Kennedy will be towed to the Inactive Ships Maintenance Facility in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, on June 26, 2007.
