(This is about HMS Oxley, but there is a sub-headline which is worth noting, "From 2 to 4 U-Boats Sunk Weekly Says Churchill" At this point in the war only 7 U-boats had been sunk in total and none so far in November 1939 at all. In fact only 9 U-boats were sunk in all of 1939.) |
