The Dutch scuttled O-11, but it was raised by the Germans. It was still under repair in 1945 when the Allies liberated the Netherlands so the Germans towed it into the harbor and scuttled it again as a blockship. The wreck was raised and scrapped.)

(Long before the left politicized people with gender identity syndrome (now known as gender dysphoria) reports like this were very rare. That is because people who suffer from this disorder are very rare. From what I have been able to find only about .003% to .006% of the population have this rare disorder. However the attention that is given to people with this disorder make it seem like it is a very common disorder. Some people are doing all they can to convince people that this is "normal" and not a rare disorder, which is in fact what it is. Why this man decided to live as a woman is unknown, and there are several different reasons that people have done this in history. Notice that the word transgender does not appear in this report, because it had not been invented yet.)

March 6, 1940: Installment #3 of "The Story of Democracy" by Hendrik Willem van Loon as published in The Evening Gazette, Xenia, Ohio.
(Click on the image for a readable version.)

There are two passages in this installment which I wish to highlight;

"Indeed, I think it is safe to say that many more people have been killed for the right to believe which they wanted to believe than in their quest for food and homes and clothing. With the penetration of Marxian [Marxist] ideas (a penetration which has gone infinitely further than most peaceful readers suspect,) the ideals of democracy have gradually been pushed into the background until today the very word "democracy" has become a hollow phrase."

And;

"There is no use getting angry at facts which fail to please you. For they won't in the least care what you happen to think about them and therefore they won't change, but they will remain just as unpleasant as before."

[These words were profound then and are even more profound now.]

March 6, 1940: A report from inside The Midland Daily Telegraph. (It is so barbaric and absurd I felt it important that everyone see it.)
