Note the report in column 3: "Two More U-Boats Destroyed"
(The report states that two U-boats were destroyed yesterday, "the destruction of one is certain." The official French announcement is that the destroyer Simoun attacked, rammed and sank a U-boat, which was not true. It also states that Simoun's sister ship Sirocco, had already sunk three U-boats. Neither of these ships ever sank a U-boat.)
