Note the report in column 3: "Man Dog Tried To Save Dies"
Also note the report in column 4: "Scuttled Ships' Crews"
(This idea had been made and rejected some time earlier as it was believed that if the British failed to rescue German sailors after they had scuttled their ships, the Germans would reciprocate and allow British sailors to face the same fate.)

Note the report at top right: "Two-Hour Raid Over Nazi Air Base - Hindenburg Dam Believed Bombed Again by R.A.F."
(This is the third report since the war started which claims that the Hindenburg Dam was bombed. In this case the British denied the claim very quickly, as can be seen below. All three claims seem to have been completely false and it is unclear where the reporters were getting their information. In this instance the R.A.F. had reported to the War Cabinet that flight operations were mostly grounded due to the weather. No British aircraft attacked the dam, or any other target in Germany. Checking the German Naval High Command papers, they make no mention of an attack against Sylt or the dam.)
Also note the report in column 6: "Britons Ill-Treated in Floating Camp"
